Kiribati is a country made up of many separated islands in the Pacific Ocean. Because of the separation between them, the customs and culture among these people varies. Family is the most important part of I-Kiribati life. Many people have large families and live amongst their entire extended families. Holiday celebrations are also spent with family. Christianity is the most common religion practiced in Kiribati. Christian holidays such as Easter and Christmas are widely celebrated.
