Holidays & Observances in Poland

Poland is a country in central Europe. Due to its location, Poland is connected to both East Europe and West Europe, so it has qualities of both. It has always encouraged freedom of religion, but most of the country still identifies with Roman Catholicism. Christian holidays are the most widely celebrated. Their traditions in Poland combine those of the east and the west to create a truly unique celebration.
