Cheese Doodles, also called cheese puffs, were invented in The United States of America in the 1930s. Two companies hold claims to the invention of the cheese doodle: the Flakell Corporation and the Elmer Candy Corporation. Both companies put out similar products at around the same time. Today there are many versions of the popular snack on the market being sold all over the world. Celebrate the cheese doodle on Cheese Doodle Day each year.
