Toss Away the “Could Haves” and “Should Haves” Day

The third Saturday in July celebrates a day to stop the "should haves" and "could haves." When we focus on what we didn't do, we're not only wasting time that could be spent doing something productive, but we're also making ourselves feel lousy. Regret is a useless emotion that doesn't change anything, and self-pity just keeps us stuck in the past. So let's focus on the present and make the most of what we have.
