Brush your teeth day started by a coalition of oral health organizations who created a campaign in 2012 to remind parents to make sure their kids brush their teeth. Sometimes shortened to Brush Day, this day is all about the teeth and good oral health.
Strategically designated the day after halloween, since that is a day where kids tend to eat the most sweets and candy's that are bad for the teeth. This is the day to remember how important it is to brush your teeth.
Tips for Brushing
Brush your teeth twice a day
Brush for a minimum of two minutes
Be sure to brush along the gumline
Brush up and down
Massage the gums and teeth as you brush, do not scrub or brush too hard
Be sure to brush all surfaces including the chewing surface, the outside and inside of the teeth.
