Canoe Day

Canoe Day originated in Canada prompted by a radio station who ran a poll, which then prompted the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough, Ontario to host an event on June 26th, inviting everyone for a day of food, fun and canoeing. It was so much fun and a huge success that the Mayor of Peterborough declared National Canoe Day to be celebrated on June 26th annually.
