Designated by the Holiday Visionary Team as an Inspiration Holiday. Created by Patti Jewel, a single mother of 3 boys who grew up with a passion for basketball who loved dunking and holding dunk contests. 

How to Celebrate Dunk Day

Get out and showcase your Michael Jordan dunks! You don't have to be a basketball player to do it. Have a dunk contest at work, in your office, with friends and family, in your home, anywhere! All you have to do it find something to dunk and something to dunk it into! Have fun and be inspired. And share your dunk videos! 

Hold Dunk Contests. Organize dunk contests with friends or family, and see who can perform the most creative or impressive dunks.

Share Your Love of Basketball. Spread the joy of basketball by sharing your favorite moments, dunks, or basketball stories on social media with the hashtag #DunkDay.
