At the end of March as determined by World Wide Fund for Nature
Earth Hour isn’t a full day holiday since it only lasts an hour. It is just one hour of focusing on the Earth and making it a better place to live. It happens each year at 8:30-9:30 PM in March, usually on a Saturday. The date is determined by The World Wide Fund for Nature, the organization that started Earth Hour. The idea of Earth Hour is to turn the lights out for an hour to raise awareness for the Earth and some of the issues currently affecting it. Many big cities around the world participate in this event. This is an easy one to celebrate, simply turn off the lights and enjoy an hour of darkness for the sake of our beloved planet.
