Good Teen Day is the day to remember to celebrate your good teenagers. Every teen deserves to be appreciated and acknowledged for the good things they do. Take the time and let them know you notice and care.
Teenagers from all over the United States have many qualities, we've all been there. The times when we are getting our first crushes, to the time when we are getting the first few hairs in our chins. Every January 16th, National Good Teen day is celebrate. Isn't it good to be appreciated as a teen?
The holiday originated from Salem City schools of Salem, Ohio. They praised the good qualities of every teen in their schools. Over the years many teenagers from the past and the present have gotten a stereotype of either being excellent or problematic. This holiday was made to observe the qualities of all teens across the board during such an important time in their lives. It is great to receive a form of appreciation for who they are and how they express themselves.
Thus when January 16th, 1993 rolled around, it was the first time for teens of every kind and shape to receive praise for being themselves! A holiday made just for them, giving them the national recognition and thanks for their character and merit. Good is inherent not in their skill, but simply in them being human.
Teenagers from all over the United States are good, and it is this very holiday that lets families and friends recognize the good in their teens along with the good within themselves!
