For many people, writing is a passion. They love to put their thoughts down on paper (or screen) and see them come to life. For others, writing can be a bit more of a struggle. But no matter what your feelings are about writing, today is the perfect day to celebrate it!
I Love to Write Day was created in 2004 by John Riddle, a writer and writing teacher from North Carolina. He wanted to create a day to celebrate writers and writing, and to encourage people of all ages to get out their pens and paper (or laptops) and start writing.
Since then, I Love to Write Day has been celebrated all over the world. Every year on November 15th, writers come together to celebrate their love of writing, and to encourage others to do the same.
So whether you love writing or you're still trying to find your voice, today is the day to celebrate it! Grab a pen and paper (or your laptop) and start writing. Who knows, you might just find your next great story!
