What is junk food?
Junk food is any food that is not considered to be a part of a healthy diet. This includes foods that are high in sugar, salt, or unhealthy fats. It is not the foods you should eat often to stay healthy. However, junk food is typically an easy pre-packaged snack or fast food that taste delicious. Foods such as candy, soda, cookies, chips, french fries and burgers are what most people think of as junk food.
Some of the most popular fast food junk foods include fast food burgers such as McDonalds Big Mac, fast food french fries, fried chicken, and pizza.
Some of the most popular pre-packaged junk foods include Twinkies, Pop Tarts, Oreos, M&M's, Nutter Butter, Cheetos, Snickers, potato chips and packaged cereals.
Sugary drinks and sodas are also considered fast foods.
