Parents’ Day is an observance to recognize parents and parental figures. In the United States, it takes place on the last Sunday of July. Parents’ day began in 1994 when President Bill Clinton signed it into law. It is not a public holiday, but it is celebrated all across the nation. It is often celebrated with gifts and local events.

We have Mother's Day and Father's Day, why not celebrate and honor parents as a unit? Today is all about celebrating your parents and parental people in your life. Both parents play a major role in your life. Sometimes one parent has to be both mom and dad. Today is the day to appreciate any parent who is important in your life.
