Igneous rocks are made of lava or magma that has cooled and solidified. Metamorphic rocks are rocks that have been changed by heat or pressure.

There are many different ways to collect rocks

You can go on a hike and look for them in the wild, or you can buy them at a rock shop. You can also look for rocks in your own backyard!
