Physical Therapy is a branch of the medical field that is often under appreciated. Physical therapists help people who have damaged parts of their bodies, through strenuous activity or trauma, gain back the full or improved functionality of those body parts. Going through physical therapy can be a long journey, but it is often a requirement for healing, and physical therapists are the people who will always be there to take that journey with you. Physical Therapy Day is a holiday dedicated to showing our appreciation for physical therapists and the important work that they do.
